HMS recently tested a remote controlled 225hp Twin Thruster in Jacksonville, Fl. While there, we went nose to nose with a Push Boat being powered by twin 671 Detroit Diesels with 30" propellers! Check out this amazing video!

Hydraulic Marine Systems' most recent Heavy Duty Twin Drive Thruster is powered by a Caterpillar C7-275HP Turbo charged Tier III Industrial Diesel engine, equipped with Sauer-DanFoss 90 Series 75cc tandem pumps and 130cc Fixed Drive Motors. This unit has long reach drive legs, allowing 10' of reach from the barge deck to centerline of the propellers (or more if desired!)
